The stack
Use stacked planes for ordered systems, delivery layers and dependencies. Labels sit on the plane; sequence remains explicit.

Facet grid
Use a three-by-three field for parallel work, capability maps and evidence sets. Avoid treating facets as decoration.

The axis
Use axes when the relationship between two measures matters more than their individual totals.
Data rules
Core neutral charts are the default. Add workstream colour for categories and status colour only for true state.

- 03Pair status colour with a glyph and written label.
- 04Do not place decoration behind analytical marks.
